is the student operated television network airing from Mason’s Main Campus in Fairfax 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MCN has been serving the George Mason Community for 10 years and has thrived on the network’s signature motto “for the students, by the students.” Here at Mason Cable, we have built a training ground for any student who hopes to gain hands-on experience or further their career in television and film.

All shows and segment specials can be seen on Channel 89. Mason Cable Network is also a proud member of the OSTN which provides students with an opportunity to have their work seen nation wide. If you are interested in joining MCN, please see our Get Involve page. We would love to hear from you!

Amit Rajput – PR Marketing Director
is a senior at GMU. He is majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a Minor in Business. He really likes Thai food, horror/suspense movies, and Indian music.

Michelle Pruitt – Assistant Producer
has been with MCN since her freshmen year at GMU. Currently, she heads the Business Affairs Department of the network while pursuing a Film and Video Studies Degree with a Minor in Business. After graduation, Michelle plans to seek a career as a writer/producer.

Sandeep Sharma – The Executive Producer
is a rising senior at George Mason University and also the Executive Producer for the MCN. He has been affiliated with the network since his freshmen year and at one time had a show on the network called The Brown Hour. Sandeep stays active with the network by integrating his skills and ideas in both the production and business aspect of the network. Sandeep plans to graduate in the Spring of 2009 and then will either move to Los Angeles or New York to advance his career in the Television–Film Industry.

Kyle Hornsby – Production Manager
has been apart of Mason Cable Network for the past two semesters. He is currently working as the Production Manager of the network and plans to broaden his staff in the upcoming year. As a freshman Film and Video Studies Major he is eager to learn and lead in any way possible. He is also involved with other organizations on campus such as Campus Crusade for Christ and Intramural Sports.

Cynthia Lehman – Faculty Advisor
is a George Mason Alumni with a BIS in Public Affairs Management and a MAIS in Women in Media. She enjoys working with students and is excited about the future of Mason Cable Network!

Tom Rutka - Web Developer
is a consultant with a passion for video production and excellence in web development. He created this dynamically loading website according to Web 2.0 best practices using XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and Flash.
